Youth Baseball
Finding Inspiration at Every Turn
North City
Elie began playing for University City Little League in San Diego when he was 6 years old. He quickly saw the challenges with finding the right fit with his Sabbath observances. The Little League would not accommodate any game changes and he was missing 60-70% of the games. Looking for a better alternative, Elie's father found North City Youth Baseball. After two board meeting presentations, the league voted to welcome the Kligmans to the league and never scheduled a regular season game on the Sabbath!
Elie was an All-Star each of his three years in the league from ages 8-10. His younger brother Ari joined in and was an All-Star as well. The Kligmans made so many great friends from those amazing people who helped make the youth league experience for the boys a great one.
Team Majestic Las Vegas
The Kligmans moved to Vegas in 2013 when Elie was 10 years old and Elie's father started Team Majestic, sponsored by Majestic Athletic, the on-field apparel supplier for MLB at the time. For five years, Majestic was one of the best youth travel ball teams in the country, winning its fair share of tournament and league championships. Many of Elie's North City friends continued to play with Majestic.
